Sonja Student has been actively involved in the implementation of children's rights for many years.
As a studied pedagogue she first published a children's magazine for many years and came more and more to the topic of children's rights and how we can emphasize them in the educational context.
Sonja is an author and consultant, chairman of the Makista e.V. association (Make Children Strong), nationwide expert for children's rights and democracy education, founder and board member of DIA - Die Integrale Akademie.
It is not least thanks to her commitment that children's rights have been incorporated into the Hessian constitution. Under her leadership, a network of children's rights schools has been set up in Hessen that have focused on democratic co-determination from the beginning.

Me gustó mucbo tu conferencia. Estoy totalmente de acuerdo en que la democracia es la mejor forma de vida. Sé que para los maestros es cada vez más difícil y sobre todo en escuelas privadas, ya que, los valores que deberían vivirse en familia, o ser adquiridos desde ahí, muchas veces no se viven ni se adquieren. Los maestros deberíamos ser la extensión y ejemplo para cada uno de nuestros alumnos, respetando su individualidad y sobretodo mostrando amor y humildad pues como bien dices, nosotros como adultos tenemos mucho que aprender de ellos y por su puesto preparándose constantemente. Muchas gracias.

I liked your lecture a lot. I totally agree that democracy is the best way of life. I know that it is increasingly difficult for teachers, especially in private schools, because the values that should be lived in the family, or acquired from there, are often not lived or acquired. The teachers should be the extension and example for each of our students, respecting their individuality and above all showing love and humility because as you say, we as adults have much to learn from them and of course preparing constantly.
