Kazuma studied linguistics in Japan and received her doctorate in Duisburg. After many years of research and teaching in the field of communication science in Tokyo, Düsseldorf and Witten, he is an associate professor for intercultural education at the University of Witten/Herdecke. He is also a founder of the institute for global integral competence.
