Birgit Brauburger is a Germanist, sociologist and meditation trainer - after many years in the communications industry, she now works as a freelance author, writer and coach for potential development.

She has been associated with the Waldorf School Wetterau since her son's kindergarten years and has been involved in the school development process, particularly as an author and coordinator in the project team "Gemeinwohl-Ökonomie".

Education of the future is a heart issue for Birgit. She is convinced that, in our complex world, social competence, creativity, personal sense, the ability to think outside the box, and the ability to create sustainable connections, are the most important factors. Enabling people to do this is one of the tasks of education.

Common-good economy project

The project Common-good Economy at the Freie Waldorfschule Wetterau had several goals: to reflect the common-good orientation in the interior and to make the contribution of the school to the common-good visible - also externally. It should also show that the Waldorf educational concept is very suitable for "bringing the idea of the common good into life" - in the truest sense of the word. The project thus stands for a change in values in both the economy and society and combines two alternative concepts.

In her work as a coach, Birgit encourages people to explore new and, above all, their own paths and "reminds" them that each individual has his or her own individual potential that needs to be expressed.
